In a survey conducted between September 1-9, 2023, Capen Analytics found that Thomas, who has never held elected office and announced his candidacy less than one month prior to the survey's commencement, secured 7% support among respondents. Alongside them, retired health care executive Jesse Thomas, former state Senator Andy Wells, and state Treasurer Dale Folwell collectively maintain 12% support.
