Governor Roy Cooper visited and toured Church Childcare Center Inc. in Walkertown. He discussed the $805 million investment in NC Child Care Stabilization Grants and the additional support these critical businesses could receive from President Biden’s Build Back Better Agenda. The NC Child Care Stabilization Grants were made possible from the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act.

Perquimans County Middle School in Winfall, C.M. Eppes Middle School in Greenville and Northridge Middle School in Charlotte were selected as outstanding schools for demonstrating leadership in getting and keeping their students fit.
2021 Governor’s Awards for Excellence Presented to 39 State Employees
Thirty-nine state employees from 10 state agencies and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill are recipients of the 2021 Governor’s Awards for Excellence, the highest honor a state employee may receive for dedicated service to the state and the people of North Carolina.
