N.C. FIRST Commission Summer Meeting set for Friday, July 31

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The N.C. FIRST Commission will meet virtually on Friday, July 31, to review revenue and finance options to secure sustainable transportation investments in North Carolina. The Commission is tasked with evaluating North Carolina’s current and future transportation investment needs and advising the Secretary of Transportation of new or better ways to ensure that critical financial resources are available in the future.

The commission is scheduled to hear a department update from Transportation Secretary Eric Boyette, and from Dr. Patricia Hendren, executive director of the Eastern Transportation Coalition, on the results of the miles-based user fee survey and analysis of driving patterns in North Carolina.
