Rep. Lewis resigns from N.C. House

RALEIGH, N.C. -- State Representative David R. Lewis (R-Harnett) has resigned from the N.C. House, effective immediately, according to multiple media reports.

North State Journal reported that Lewis is expected to plead guilty to two federal charges in federal court.
