Governor Cooper signs bill into law
RALEIGH: Governor Roy Cooper signed the following bill into law today:
House Bill 642: Down Syndrome Organ Trans. Nondiscrim. Act.
Governor Cooper made the following statement on HB 642:
"This important legislation ensures there is no discrimination against people with disabilities when life saving organ transplants occur."
